Senator Leman, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Senate Committee Substitute offered today. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 24(STA) was adopted. SENATE CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 24(STA) was read the second time. The Rules Committee offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 1: Delete "the shortage of" Page 2, line 7: After "WHEREAS" Insert: "it is important to the economy of Alaska to ensure that" Page 2, line 7: Delete "a shortage of" Page 2, lines 11 and 12: Delete all material Page 2, line 19: Delete the first "the" Insert "any" Senator Jacko moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 1.
